October 4-7: American Canoe Association Level 4 Coastal Kayaking "Rough Water Weekend" mini kayak symposium. All paddlers are welcome for top level coaching in rougher sea conditions. If you are an existing level 4 instructor this can count as an update, and level 3 instructors can upgrade to level 4 after passing an L4 Skills Assessment.

October 4-7: ACA Level 4 Skills Assessment. Participants in the Rough Water symposium have to option of taking a level 4 assessment for free!
