The Lost Creek Family
This will be my first year on the LCA team. This coming fall I will be a senior at Northland Collage majoring in Natural resources with a minor in Outdoor Education. I have spent my life living on Lake Superior and am excited to share my love for the lake with as many people as possible. I'm looking forward to spending my summer helping people make their own memories with Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands National Lake Shore!
Jasmine is from Wisconsin and has always loved Lake Superior and the area surrounding. After attending Northland, she knew she wanted to spend her time near the South Shore. When you don’t see her in the LCA office, you can find her with her favorite sled dogs ( at Firestar Kennel, if allowed to plug my winter gig 😉 ). She’s looking forward to a great summer with LCA! Happy Trails.
This will be my first year joining the LCA team. Im a junior at Northland college with a major in Outdoor Education. Ive grown up in the Northwoods my whole life and I’m stoked to share the love I have with the outdoors. I look forward to getting to know the clients and staff of LCA while enjoying all Mother Superior has to offer.
Has been guiding on Lake Superior since 2016. Her passion for sea kayaking and hiking to waterfalls led her to leave her home state of Iowa to live in the Northwoods. Through her years as a guide she has been able to pursue paddling certifications, opportunities to mentor paddling programs in Ontario, craft kayaks and canoes for Wenonah/Current Designs and even follow summer to guide in New Zealand. She looks forward to sharing the endless wonders of the Apostle Islands with you this summer!
This is Kali's first season of being a sea kayak guide and she couldn't be more excited. She will be a junior at Northland College with a major in Outdoor Education. Kali can't wait to take people out to see the beauty of Lake Superior and to have an amazing time getting to meet all kinds of people and making new friends! Kali also enjoys whitewater canoeing and backpacking, ask Kali for some fun trail stories!
This will be my first year on the LCA team. I'm excited to meet new, like-minded people, and get outside to connect people with the outdoors! I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Environmental Studies and AgriScience, and love doing pretty much anything outside. I grew up camping and hiking in Michigan around the Great Lakes, and I'm really looking forward to spending some time on Superior this summer.
Hi, I'm Jesse. I grew up on inland lakes all around Michigan. I have professional or amateur experience with almost all types of watersports. I'm excited to get back into the outdoor recreation industry, to learn and be apart of the Lost Creek team. Pumped to meet y'all!
Hi, I'm Sam your shop greeter and trip welcome-back'er. I love the water and chasing stuff. Can't wait to see you!
I’m excited to join the Lost Creek Adventures team and look forward meeting new friends, workmates, and clients as we explore Lake Superior and the northland in pursuit of fun and adventure. When not paddling a kayak, I get my kicks mountain biking and bike camping, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and hiking and doing yoga.
has been a professional sea kayak guide for 9 years. He enjoys guiding and has a passion for teaching people how to paddle and have fun on the water! He also loves "whitewater sea kayaking" on the days it gets so rough that most level headed paddlers stay on shore. In recent years my love for rough water paddling has lead me to the west coast to play in the Pacific Ocean surf and the tidal races of the San Juan Islands.
This is my first season at LCA, and I'm very excited to be working along Lake Superior. I grew up in the Dells near the Wisconsin River as the youngest of a bunch of rowdy kids. I'm studying for a degree in business. When I'm not studying or working, I'm probably riding my moped all over town or spending time by the lake.
Indulging in kayaking since the year 2005, a passion developed. Among his hobby of paddling; climbing, backpacking, slack lining, living off-grid, sleeping, consuming large amounts of calories & reading keep him busy when not on water (minus the calorie part; food is good) Request Kurt as your guide today, tomorrow or next year.
