The Lost Creek Crew

My name is Alex, I'm from Southeastern WI, avid Sea kayaker and enjoy rock climbing either outdoors or at the gym.

I am very excited to be joining LCA as a guide this summer! I spent my last 2 summers guiding at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and am hyped to work along another beautiful lakeshore on Lake Superior. I am finishing up my degree in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management at Northern Michigan University. I grew up in Michigan's lower peninsula in a small town, and paddling is a passion. Outside of paddling I love photography, disc golf, hiking, hammocking, camping, and playing guitar.

My name is Izzy and I'm a Junior at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, studying Environmental Conservation. I grew up in southern Wisconsin and love doing anything and everything outdoors. I especially enjoy kayaking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking. This will be my first summer working as a guide with LCA and I am super excited to experience this adventure with you. I can't wait to share my passion for the outdoors and create some unforgettable memories!

Hi, I'm Sam your shop greeter and trip welcome-back'er. I love the water and chasing stuff. Can't wait to see you!

I am so excited to be joining LCA as a guide this summer! I'm originally from Upstate NY but have spent the last several years traveling the world. When I'm not out on the water either paddling or scuba diving; you'll find me traveling, reading, hiking or finding the best food in the region. I can't wait to spend this summer exploring Lake Superior and sharing her beauty with our guests.

I'm an avid skier and snowboarder, grew up in central Wisconsin, and love hiking and camping and all things outdoors! I'm is super excited to be on staff at Lost creek this summer and looking forward to expanding my knowledge of paddling because I bought my own kayak last summer and am excited to put it to use!

Growing up in the land of 10000 lakes, I always loved the water. The idea of kayaking started as a way to fish the local waterways; paddling quickly became a passion and I haven’t put down my paddle long enough to fish! In the last 3 years, I have become a certified instructor, paddling/safety advocate, sea kayak symposium enthusiast, and officer of La Crosse Paddling Club. When I’m not on the water, you can find me hiking with my dog Larry, organizing music festivals, or volunteer fundraising.
