ACA Introduction To Whitewater Kayaking
Dates: April 22-26, 2024

Location: Wolf River, Camp Gardener Dam, White Lake WI.

Learning foundational paddling skills correctly from the start will allow you to improve quickly with less chance of injury and bad habits. Your instructors will take you through a step-by-step learning progression leading to comfort with paddling up to class 2 whitewater on your own. (We may paddle up to easy class 3 in the course, with portaging always an option:) See the ACA Whitewater Kayaking Course Outline for details on course curriculum.

The river portion of this course will take place on the Wolf River, a National Scenic Waterway, with Lodging at Boy Scout Camp Gardner Dam, a heated bunkhouse with kitchens & showers. (Important at this chilly time of year.!)

You can either meet us there or take the van with us from Cornucopia. Day 1 will start on flatwater in the afternoon, then on the rivers days 2-4.

Tuition: $595 includes all gear, food, lodging, and transportation.

Not sure if you want to commit? Please contact us with questions or to be put on the list for future whitewater trips and courses.
