Full Moon Kayak Tour
It's amazing being out on the Lake Superior during the full moon! We launch from Cornucopia beach right around sunset and paddle out to explore the sea caves at Romans Point. The tour starts off with kayak instruction, then we launch with the moon rising as we explore the caves and arches.
This tour only happens 3 times per month; the two nights before and the night of the true full moon. During the trip your guide will discuss night vision and show a few constellations to help orient you to the night sky.
*Important* This tour uses tandem kayaks for stability. Bring a friend or we'll provide you one! For safety reasons you must bring 1 headlamp/flashlight per every two people in your group. (We sell headlamps at our shop if you don't have one.)
$80 per person 8pm-11pm (Please note that this trip is for adult size paddlers only due to safety reasons; we ask everyone to be at least 14 years old and 115 pounds)
