Stand Up Paddling Courses

What is possible on a SUP? Well, going straight without having to switch sides for one. Proper instruction and good technique means less frustration, faster travel, and more fun. From joining one of our Instruct-Tours, to taking one of our more in-depth classes, (Listed below) you should be able to find something to grow your skills.

Location: Cornucopia, WI

Like any sport involving movement such as skiing or kayaking, learning foundational paddling skills correctly from the start will allow you to improve quickly with less chance of chronic injury or developing bad habits.

Your instructor will take you through a step-by-step learning progression and provide useful critiques and exercises to go home with.

Tuition: $50 per person. You may bring your own equipment or rent from us. Special rental rate of $20 allows you to keep the equipment until closing time.

Location: Cornucopia (meet at our shop) or by arrangement.

Good for beginner to intermediate paddlers, this course is designed to develop and refine the skills needed to paddle effectively in conditions where wind, waves and current can be present. (like Lake Superior!) This course is also designed to increase knowledge of SUP equipment.
