Requirements To Attend We would like to invite everyone to take part in our programs, however all participants must be physically capable of
engaging in the activity safely. Participants must be willing to listen to and follow directions of our staff. All participants
are required to read, understand, and sign our Acknowledgment Of Risk Form for all events, as well as a Medical History
Form when deemed necessary. We strongly suggest that you consult your health professional prior to registering and
contact us with any concerns you may have.
Lost Creek Adventures staff reserve the right to disqualify at any time, without refund, any member of the
trip/class/workshop who is determined to be mentally or physically unfit to continue due to safety or behavioral, issues.
Age Requirements: Classes/Workshops: Must be accompanied by parent or gaurdian if under 16 years of age. Sea kayak paddlers: 12 years old and 100lbs minimum. Parent or guardian must be present for ages 16 or under. Kayaking (any type) guided tour passengers (non-paddlers): 5 years old minimum with parent/gaurdian present. Stand Up Paddleboard tours: 14 years old and/or 100 lbs minimum. Guardian must be present for ages 16 or under. Rentals: Parent or guardian must be present and responsible for children. No supervision is provided.
Payment Prices listed are per person, and do not include taxes or gratuities. Reservation Deposit To hold your reservation we require a deposit. Normally this is 50% of your total, up to $100 maximum. (E.g. extended trips)
We sometimes require payment in full. Once we receive your reservation request (form below) we will contact you with
details. Pricing Specials All Folk School offerings have an early/late payment option listed on the course page. The earlier you can register helps our
instructors plan and aquire needed materials, so we reward you with a less expensive price when you register early.
Materials fees are seperate and are not affected by an early/late payment.

Cancellations & Refunds We cancel: Full reimbursement. This may occur if there is insufficient participation or due to foreseeable weather
conditions. In lieu of cancellation, Lost Creek Adventures reserves the right to change the trip location/route for the sake of
participant comfort and safety. Once the trip departs the put-in area (beach, etc.) we do not issue refunds. You cancel: Lost Creek is proud to offer a reasonable cancellation policy, We charge a 5% administration fee when we
cancel a deposit made by credit card.
THE FOLLOWING POLICIES ALSO APPLY: *1/2 to 1 Day Paddling Reservations: You must notify us at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance for a full reimbursement
minus the admistration fee, otherwise your deposit is forfeit. If you must cancel last-minute due to personal illness we will
do our best to reschedule you. *Camping & Multi-Day Paddling Reservations: You must notify us at least 21 days in advance for reimbursement of your
deposit minus the administration fee. At 20 days or less we do not offer deposit reimbursment unless you find someone
who can fill your spot. If you must cancel last-minute due to a serious personal illness we will do our best to reschedule
you, however in lieu of our ability to do so the loss will be shared equally. (loss of deposit) *Equipment Rentals & shuttles: You must notify us at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance for cancellation or change of
reservation. We try to accommodate changes due to foul weather. Administration fee applies to returns. *Workshops, Classes: You must notify us at least 14 days in advance for reimbursement of deposit minus administration
fee. *Group Reservations: Your deposit is based off of the participant numbers you originally stated. If a person decides to not
show up, their amount of the deposit is forfeit, as we schedule guides/instructors based on how many are in your group.
Try to contact us early if you need to change your group size.
Your Responsibilities We encourage our participants to develop skills and judgment that leads to self-confidence and self-reliance. We take
measures to keep you safe, but ultimately you are responsible for your own actions. Real learning and adventure is not
without risk! Physical You may be asked to lift, carry, pull, paddle, and otherwise exert yourself physically during the experience. You should
inform your instructor/guide if you feel uncomfortable with any of the tasks we are doing. Insurance In case of emergency be sure your personal insurance is adequate to cover expenses caused by accidents in sometimes
remote locations. Our staff are trained to administer first aid, however Lost Creek Adventures LLC cannot assume liability
regarding costs of providing medical care or emergency evacuations. If you don't have regular health insurance that offers
these services Travelers Insurance can be a good way to go and is inexpensive. Equipment Care As the equipment user you are responsible for damages and breakage beyond normal wear and tear. You must have a
credit card number and identification on file with us to rent equipment. Vehicles & Parking The National Park requires you to pay a $3 parking fee at the Meyers beach sea caves if you drive your own vehicle. We
sometimes require that you provide your own transportation to paddling put-in sites for our trips depending upon logistics.
